Otoplasty or ear correction surgery is the procedure to alter to shape, size or the position of your ears. It’s a straightforward surgery and one which can hugely boost your self confidence. Many people have been teased since childhood about the size or shape of their ears. In fact, protruding ears or so-called ‘bat ears’ affect 1-2 per cent of the population.
Here at Cosmetic Surgery Partners, our experienced team of surgeons have performed thousands of ear correction surgeries. The Otoplasty – or pinnaplasty – is a relatively easy operation which is performed under general anaesthetic, with most patients returning home the same day.
As part of the Cosmetic Surgery Partners patient journey, we provide a psychological assessment before Abdominoplasty surgery. This step is to prepare the patient, enhance their tummy tuck cosmetic surgery journey and support them psychologically if there are any mental health concerns.
