Having worked as specialist consultant in the NHS he is well versed at all types of rhinoplasty surgery including revision secondary nose surgery, septorhinoplasty and augmentation rhiniplasty. You will be able to find out which is most suitable for you during your initial consultation.
Mr Dario Rochira was one of the first surgeons in London performing Preservation Rhinoplasty and in his experience up to 80% of patients are suitable for this procedure. Patients who undergo Preservation Rhinoplasty have a faster recovery and are discharged home only a few hours following their surgery
The surgery will involve a general anaesthetic, and usually an overnight stay in the luxurious purpose built London Welbeck Hospital. Your surgeon can make cuts from inside of your nostrils to remove bone and cartilage and re-shape the nose.
If you want a smaller nose made bigger, a procedure known as augmentation rhinoplasty, your surgeon may take extra bone and cartilage to build up your nose shape. Rhinoplasty can also be used to address the patients functionality, for more information please see our frequently asked question below.

Rhinoplasty – or nose job - will suit anyone who is unhappy with the shape or size of their nose, be it too flat, too wide, too large, too small or misshapen with a bump. Some of our patients come to us for nose reshaping after their nose has been broken or damaged in an accident. Others turn to us for help because congenital problems with their nose means they can’t breathe well, particularly at night.
Once fully healed following surgery it will be very difficult if not impossible for people to detect you’ve had surgery performed. The incisions made by surgeons during surgery are made in concealed places and in some cases all incisions are created from within the nostrils, so once initial healing is complete there will really be very little chance of anyone ‘detecting’ that you’ve had cosmetic surgery, not that there is anything to be ashamed of!
Sadly it is not uncommon that we see patients who are unhappy with the results created by a previously sought surgeon. Fortunately are surgeons are experts at performing ‘revision’ or ‘secondary’ corrective rhinoplasty surgery.
Whatever the case our surgeons will be able to draw upon their wealth of operating experience in order to give you the nose you’ve always dreamed of.
Although the shape of the nose can somewhat be addressed by altering other parts of the face using non-surgical alternatives the only real and permanent way to reshape or resize a patient’s nose is with cosmetic surgery.
You will be able to ask your surgeon about other methods of re-addressing the balance of your facial features during your initial consultation.
It is our standard policy to not operate on any patients under the age of 18. Conversely however there is no real upper age limit when it comes to having cosmetic surgery so long as the patient is in good health.
You will be given a full health check and deemed suitable for the surgery during your initial consultation with one of our expert consultants.
You will have a dressing on your nose afterwards, and although you may feel bunged up for a few days afterwards, the pain is usual controlled with over-the-counter painkillers such as ibruprofen or paracetemol.
Although the results of rhinoplasty surgery are instant the initial bruising and swelling associated with the procedure tend to subside around 1-2 weeks following surgery. At this stage you will be able to notice initial results, however we advise all patients to wait 4-6 weeks following surgery in order to see the full results of the operation.
At cosmetic surgery partners cost of rhinoplasty starts from £6000.00. Cost will vary depending on the type of rhinoplasty required.
This is an all-inclusive price with no hidden extras, it includes; all pre-op consultations and appointments following surgery, your overnight hospital stay and any garments or splints you may have to wear following surgery.
