After an incredible weight loss journey, Imogen was left with little confidence due to volume loss from her breasts. Despite dropping from a size 14 to her desired dress size 8, she was left feeling disheartened with small, sagging breasts. Unable to wear certain outfits and feeling self-conscious, Imogen was keen to get that perkiness back, or as she puts it in her own words ‘the Oomph’.

A 6 week follow up appointment following cosmetic surgery is an essential step to make sure the patient is happy with the outcome and more importantly a good chance for our surgeons to check that you have healed properly.

Although many patients are fully healed before the 6 week mark we prefer to see patients at this stage, only when the post-surgical swelling has gone down can our surgeons fully assess and record the results of the surgery carried out. We apply this process to all patients undergoing surgical procedures.

In her own words Imogen describes her breast augmentation surgery experience

For a 24-year-old girl, feeling like you’ve got saggy boobs is not good for your confidence. I wanted to be able to wear low cut tops and backless pieces. I wanted to walk around feeling confident and actually love my boobs.

I spent hours looking for surgeons all over the country, weighing up pros and cons and making sure I felt 100% ready. I met a few surgeons but always came out feeling quite deflated by what they were saying. They were suggesting massive procedures that would have left a lot of scarring. I didn’t think what they were offering was right for me, and I didn’t feel like the surgeons were right for me.
